Silver coin BH Mayer – Lunar Ounce 2023: Azure Rabbit is one of the most recognisable and attractive issues from the Lunar Collection, produced by the renowned German mint BH Mayer.
The obverse (front) features a vibrant artistic rendition of the Rabbit, a symbol of good fortune, tenderness, intuition, and prosperity in the Chinese lunar calendar.
The mosaic effect has been done in azure shades of blue, purple, turquoise, and pastel tones, which gives a strong and modern visual identity.
Dark ruthenium provides a fantastic contrast to the colour scheme, making the figure of the Hare distinctly emphasised and beautiful at first glance.
The reverse side (revers) shows the official Republic of Rwanda GRB, finished in a dark Black-Ruthenium plating, which further contributes to the coin's luxurious and serious appearance.
