Golden ducat „Our Lady of the Three Hands“ This is an exceptional work of art inspired by the miraculous icon that has been preserved for centuries in the Hilandar Monastery. Legend has it that the third hand, after which the icon is named, was added as a vow of gratitude to the Mother of God for the healing of Saint John of Damascus. This holy depiction symbolises divine assistance, grace, and healing – giving the medallion a strong spiritual meaning.
On the front of the ducat is a relief depiction of the Mother of God with Christ and a third hand – in accordance with the iconographic traditions of Orthodoxy. Each piece is made with exceptional precision, emphasising fine details and the spiritual harmony of the motif.
